Cattle egrets on the tidal flats

Due to the drought birds are locally migrating in search of food and water

Today, there were 81 cattle egrets having a rest on the tidal flats before moving on.

Our journey of discovery managing a beach nesters breeding site.

21 September 2015 we found a pair of eggs sitting on the Deeban Spit beach. Thus our crazy journey began. So much to learn.
