An example of some of the bird life that uses the tidal flats.

The tidal flats need the marine invertebrates, fish, sea grass and birds to all co-exist for the ecosystem to stay healthy. We need to ensure all the elements continue to thrive.

Our journey of discovery managing a beach nesters breeding site.

21 September 2015 we found a pair of eggs sitting on the Deeban Spit beach. Thus our crazy journey began. So much to learn.
